Aktion Club of Allen County is a Kiwanis-sponsored service club in partnership with the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Aktion Club meetings are a time for people to get together with friends to learn and provide important services to the community. It is open to adults in Allen County who have a desire to engage in community service. Examples of community service projects include:

Volunteering at West Ohio Food Bank, Our Daily Bread and Restore.

Purchasing and donating school supplies and backpacks for local schools.

Collecting items for Family Promise.

Organizing fundraisers to donate money to local agencies.
Aktion Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. of the month at the Lima Public Library. Transportation is not provided to Aktion Club meetings. To join, $15.00 annual dues are required. Attendance is very important. Club members vote on officers who plan and facilitate the meetings.
