Caregiver Connection

 

Caregiver Connection is a support group for family members who are caregivers for adults with developmental disabilities. The group meets the 4th Thursday of every month from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. in the Administration Building at the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Registration is not required. Examples of discussions include: housing, future planning, stress management and home and community-based services.  Attendees problem solve with each other and share valuable resources.  Occasionally, guest speakers will attend to share their knowledge and resources.

Sound On 

 

The Sound On Support Group is for anyone impacted by hearing loss, including parents, grandparents and friends. Activities include field trips, playgroups, informational sessions, support and meeting other parents. This group meets quarterly.
