Allen County Board of DD has reinvented our agency newsletter! In the past, we published a regular newsletter, but it’s been two years since the last edition was released. Due to changes in laws, staffing, and programs since that time, we look a little different than we did in January 2016. We really want to ensure information is available so you know where we are, what we are doing, and how to access the services we offer.
At the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities, we want to Celebrate CommUNITY, and we’re taking the time to do that right now, during DD Awareness Month! Our vision is a community that recognizes the importance and potential of all people. We hope that by sharing information about things that are happening through our programs and around the community, others will be able to celebrate with us. It truly takes a unified community to serve people with disabilities, so that they have the opportunities and support necessary to live the best life they choose. It is our hope that our community will be inspired by the stories we share about what is happening in the lives of people with disabilities in Lima and Allen County.
