REPORT ABUSE/NEGLECT

After a call to report the immediate concerns, please follow-up with an email to ReportMUI@acbdd.org.  An Investigative agent from the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities reviews all reports and follow-up as indicated. Incidents of abuse, neglect, exploitation, misappropriation, and other such incidents will be investigated according to the law and the rules established. The work of the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities is to ensure the health and safety of the individual through any report made.   All Major Unusual Incidents (MUI) are also reported to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Investigative Agents work cooperatively with other employees of the Board, Allen County Children Services, and assigned law enforcement agencies to ensure that incidents are investigated per Ohio law.
