The Down Syndrome Support Group meets monthly at 801 Bellefontaine Ave., Lima Ohio.
The West Central Ohio Autism Community Support Group meets the third Thursday of each month at Lima Public Library, Meeting Room 2, from 5:45 – 7:15 p.m. This group does not meet the months of July, August, and December.
The Ohio Hands & Voices Support Group welcomes families with unilateral and bilateral hearing loss/with or without amplification. This group meets the second Tuesday of each month at the East/West Dining Rooms at Lima Memorial Health System from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Bridges is a caring support group whose goal is to promote parenting and life skills through classes, practical help, and emotional support. This program is for anyone who is either pregnant or has recently had a baby and is looking for support and assistance.
The Parent Project is a 10-16 week parent training program designed specifically for parents of strong-willed or out of control adolescents and children. The curriculum teaches concrete information, prevention and intervention strategies for the most destructive behaviors such as poor school attendance and performance, alcohol and other drug use, gangs, runaways and violent teens.
